Pump Weekend

The idea of the weekend was VACUUM PUMPING. This weekend was organized by Tiger of http://www.tigerpumping.com Visitors on his site, from across the country got together in Palm Springs, CA on June 7-9, 2002. What occurred was a weekend of pumping, learning, and sharing. If you wanted sex, you could go find it. If you wanted to be laid back, fine. We even had a straight boy amongst us. Pretty surprising to see at a gay resort. It was a great, at you own pace, fun filled weekend.

Vacutech http://www.vacutech.com, a premier cylinder manufacturer and electric pump distributer was a major sponsor and donated lots of equipment for the attendees. Cathedral City Boys Club CCBC http://www.ccbc-gay-resort.com was the host for this event and a more conducive place would be hard to find.

Comments on the weekend

"Tiger, we had a blast in Palm Springs. There were no problems, we had a full turnout (18-20 in the hotel, 3-6 day people, and many interested CCBC attendees, day pass people and staff observing). People had a good time. Structure became much less important than pumping in small groups of new friends, which occurred day and night. I think a lot of friend-making occurred, and people really seemed to support and learn from each other.

I m sure the sense of the group was to do this again. How often, how much structure, how big an attendance to aim for, all these are open items. I suggest you commit CCBC, who were professional and wonderful, to the same or similar dates next year. CCBC worked very well for reasons including the warm air enabling big pumps, and the sun on the tubes making them warm, and no problem with being naked, and warm 24/7 in many months. I do know that Maxx from LA said it best, on Friday night, 'For the first time a pumping event came together and is working. Anything else I ve heard of has always failed'."
